The Sindhi Association of Victoria (SAV) was formed in 1990 and it stands for the following objectives:
- To conserve and foster Sindhi culture amongst Sindhi’s living in Melbourne
- To promote social progress and assist in matters concerning in the well being of its members
- To promote communication and contact with sindhi’s living in other Australian states, India and other parts of the world
