At the start of the year in the AGM, SAV Committee was requested to look into the higher membership fee and following from this we have received couple of requests throughout the year to look at reducing the cost of membership. With this, it is my great pleasure to announce our new membership fee, this new fee structure comes with the detailed view at our expenses as they have been reduced with electronic communication and at the same time we have managed to secure more government grants for our events.
Effective from this year, the new annual membership fees is as per the below:
· Family Membership – $30 per year (reduced from $50)
· Single Membership – $15 (reduced from $25)
· Senior Couple\Single Membership (60+) – $15 per year (New offering)
· New members first year – $10 per year
· Students – First year free, thereafter $10 per year
All members of who have paid their membership for this year will be refunded their excess payment as a credit towards Diwali Tickets and no other credit\cash will be given out. This is to ensure we have a nice big attendance for our Diwali Gala and reduce administrative challenge to the team.
I will like to encourage all who are not members yet to consider becoming members before purchasing Diwali tickets as they will be discounted to our members and the details will be sent out soon.
